The Lewis Central Girls’ swim Team is 6-2. They have had a solid season so far and look to continue their success.

Glenwood junior Allee Rounds said, “Overall I think the season is going well. We have been practicing hard, but we are swimming the best we can at each meet and our team as a whole has been winning meets.”

Glenwood freshman Vivianne Payne said, “We definitely have grown as a team but also as individuals.  Most of our meets we have won and I can only see us getting better from here.”

The Lady Titans have gotten second place out of 10 teams at the Missouri Valley Relay and fourth place out of 15 teams at the Fort Dodge Invite. The Lady Titans have defeated Atlantic 143 to 126, West Des Moines Valley 205 to 190, S.C. North Metro 145 to 132, Des Moines Roosevelt/AL 223 to 199.

They will visit Johnston on October 7.
