The Glenwood Boys Tennis team is off to a 2-3 start in the 2019 season. Despite some tough losses, the Rams are keeping their focus forward toward the rest of the season’s matches. 

The  Rams got the first win of the season against Southwest Valley April 4, beating them 5-4. Glenwood took home two doubles matches with the duos of Jay Kaczmarek/Henry Gray and Ryan Blum/Dylan Sondag.

Junior Henry Jacob got a singles win defeating Evan Fleharty 8-4.

However the Rams received three more losses in the following days to Lewis Central, Atlantic and Red Oak.

Glenwood snapped their skid after a solid 5-4 win over Harlan last night. It was a tight battle throughout the night, with Blum and Sondag’s doubles win sealing the victory for the Rams.

The Rams will continue their season with a home meet against Thomas Jefferson tomorrow.
