Ramily Staff awarded Autumn Clemmer and Michelle Millar staff members of the month for November and December.

Clemmer is the West Elementary Librarian and the PTA president. She is the November winner for Ramily Matters staff member of the month.

“Autumn gives our elementary students and families an insane amount of her free time. She is so innovative in how she works to get kids excited about reading,” said an anonymous coworker who nominated her for the award. “She highlights a different teacher each week and asks for the teachers’ personal information about their lives and things they are interested in. Then she chooses books from the library that aligns with some of those things.  The classes get so excited when their teacher is the featured teacher, and there has been a huge increase in books checked out for the books she highlights.”

Not only does Clemmer organize all the book fairs at West Elementary, she also runs all events the PTA puts on.

Another anonymous coworker said “Autumn organizes all of the work that the PTA does including t-shirt sales, Westoberfest and the Elementary Carnival. Then she comes to West and rocks her job as librarian. We have the diamond in the rough here.”

Michelle Millar is the Guidance Counselor at West Elementary and is the Demember winner of Ramily Matters staff member of the month.

“Michelle is leading the charge at West Elementary in our ‘Take Back the Cafeteria’ campaign,” said an anonymous coworker. “She is currently supervising all three lunch periods at West. She helps our newbie third graders, our gigantic fourth grade class, and our squirrely fifth graders. She is taking new associates under her wing and is a great role model for all staff.”

Another anonymous staff member expressed gratitude for all Millar does.

“Thank you for introducing new lessons, including staff in your guidance work and helping us carry out those lessons in our classroom. Thank you for finding new and innovative ways to build strong leaders in our kids,” said an anonymous coworker. “Thank you for giving us your love and your heart every day at West.”
