    Senior Isaac Bales has signed with the University of Louisville to play rugby. Bales is currently number six in the nation at his position (hooker) by FloRugby. He plays for the Full Armor Glenwood Rams Rugby Club which is ranked number one in the Rugby Nebraska League.

    The new reading initiative called Hot Reads is a way for teachers to share their favorite books with students. The Glenwood Middle School has been involved in the hot reads initiative all year, but the high school decided to give it a try after winter break.  Every quarter, Instructor-Librarian Karen Barrett selects teachers and surveys them about their favorite books and also sets up a display to encourage student readership.     The boys’ soccer team started their season strong and are currently 4-2, its wins coming over Missouri Valley (10-0), Thomas Jefferson (2-1), Atlantic (2-1) and Carroll Kuemper Catholic (3-2). Their losses coming from Lewis Central (0-6) and Harlan (0-4). The players are optimistic about this season.     After dominating in their first outdoor meet, the Lady Rams Track Team has continued to show their power, staying undefeated thus far in their outdoor season. The Lady Rams ran at the Lewis Central Invitational on April 17, winning the meet with 126 points. Sioux City East was a close second with 113 points.
